Effect of Interactive Reading on Storytelling Skills

چکیده

This study aims to examine the effect of interactive reading activities on storytelling skills. A quasi-experimental design with pre-test post-test control group was used in research. The research carried out 49 third-grade students a public school Şanlıurfa. data were obtained by means voice recorder during process aloud picture book, which has characteristics silent experimental and via method. implementation lasted for 12 weeks total 18 children's books within scope studies. According results line analysis data, there no significant difference between groups terms such as number words, word diversity sentence meaning unit narrations structured method, while scores favour group. In at end literature, it concluded that studies contributed development expressive language skills children increased their vocabulary.
